survivor series

Most of the Survivor Series card was announced this week on Monday Night Raw, and a few more pieces of the puzzle fell into place this week on WWE SmackDown Live.

Becky Lynch won a fatal 5-way match to become the Team Captain of the women’s SmackDown Live team.

Kevin Owens recently left WWE’s tour of South America early, but he returned in a backstage segment, and he told Sami Zayn that he’ll face Shinsuke Nakamura next week and the winner will join the SmackDown team at Survivor Series.

Randy Orton and Sami Zayn faced off in the main event, and Kevin Owens made his way to the ring to distract Orton. Unfortunately the distraction didn’t pay off, because while the referee was looking at Owens, Orton hit Zayn with a low blow and followed up with an RKO for the win.

Orton will now go on to compete in the Raw vs. SmackDown Live traditional Survivor Series match.
