john cena

John Cena is one of the most recognizable names in wrestling today, and he’s a 16 time WWE World Champion. Cena made his return to WWE after several months away on the Fourth of July, and when he returned he returned as a free agent. The former WWE Champion recently spoke about his free agent status, and he noted that his days are numbered, so he wants to do his best to make the most of the time he has left.

John Cena made his return to WWE Monday Night Raw this week, and he wasted no time kicking off his next feud. He told the fans that he was there to confront a certain WWE Superstar, and that’s when Roman Reigns’ music hit. John told Roman that he’s exactly the guy he was looking for, and the fans tried their best to boo both stars out of the ring before they were interrupted by The Miz, and then eventually Samoa Joe.

It looks like WWE is wasting no time building John Cena vs. Roman Reigns, and with No Mercy right around the corner, it wouldn’t be surprising at all to see Reigns vs. Cena make the card.

Sports Illustrated is reporting that the reason why John Cena was moved to Monday Night Raw is because Vince McMahon wants Cena to “give the rub” to Roman Reigns. Cena’s move to Raw is all about his opponents and wasn’t made solely based on the belief that Cena can draw ratings.

Vince McMahon has reportedly decided he wants to elevate Cena and then use Cena’s elevation to put over The Big Dog Roman Reigns.

Even though it seems that a feud with Roman Reigns is the priority, Reigns isn’t the only fresh opponent that’s available for Cena to feud with now that he’s been moved to Raw, as feuds with Braun Strowman and Samoa Joe are also possible now that he’s on the red brand.
