Jey Uso Wins 2025 WWE Royal Rumble Match

The annual Royal Rumble premium live event is always one of the biggest shows of the year and the 2025 Royal Rumble gave fans plenty to talk about.

The event kicked off in a big way with the women’s Royal Rumble match which featured surprise appearances from Alexa Bliss, Nikki Bella, Trish Stratus and more. Charlotte Flair secured a Royal Rumble victory in the opening match, and the men’s Royal Rumble closed out the show later in the night.

Rey Mysterio kicked off the match at number one, and Penta entered the match at number two. Carmelo Hayes was the first to be eliminated and he was thrown out by Bron Breakker who entered at number seven. Breakker eliminated Santos Escobar shortly after. Akira Tozawa tried to enter the match at number right, but Carmelo Hayes took him out as he was leaving.

Backstage Triple H told IShowSpeed that he had to enter the Royal Rumble. IShowSpeed entered the match, but he was quickly speared by Bron Breakker then eliminated by Otis.

Joe Hendry entered the match at number fifteen to a big reaction from the fans. Roman Reigns ended up entering the match at number sixteen. The Tribal Chief immediately eliminated The Miz, Sheamus and Joe Hendry. Reigns came face to face with Bron Breakker and they both ran the ropes. Breakker connected with a big spear on Roman Reigns, but Roman got up and threw Breakker over the top rope. Jimmy Uso tried to help Roman up then Jacob Fatu threw Jimmy out. Roman and Jacob Fatu had a staredown then exchanged strikes.

Drew McIntyre entered at number fifteen and went right after Roman. Everyone teamed up to beat down Roman then Jey Uso came out at number twenty to even the odds.

AJ Styles made his return when he entered the Royal Rumble at number twenty one. Business picked up in a major way when John Cena entered the Royal Rumble for the last time at number twenty three. Cena immediately eliminated Braun Strowman and Finn Balor.

Cena and Roman had a stand off, but CM Punk’s music hit before either one made a move as Punk entered at number twenty four. The fans chanted “CM Punk” as Punk, Roman and Cena all stood face to face in the ring. Once again the countdown ended before anyone did anything and Seth Rollins made his entrance. Rollins went right after Punk, then Cena went after Roman Reigns. The fans chanted “this is awesome.”

Logan Paul was the last person to enter the match at number thirty. LA Knight pushed Logan Paul off the apron and Paul landed on the announce table as he avoided elimination. Logan Paul then stood on the announce table and watched the match as he drank Prime. He then stood on the barricade and jumped to the steel ring steps then eliminated AJ Styles.

The final six came down to Roman, Jey, Cena, Rollins, Paul and CM Punk. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins ended up brawling and it looked like Roman was about to eliminate Seth. However, Punk ran up behind them and eliminated both of them. Logan Paul then eliminated CM Punk.

Rollins hit the stomp on Roman Reigns outside the ring then CM Punk and Seth Rollins brawled as WWE officials tried to break them up. Rollins hit Roman with a second stomp on the steel steps.

It came down to Jey Uso, John Cena and Logan Paul. Back in the ring Jey Uso and Logan Paul exchanged strikes. Cena got them both in the corner and he put them both on his shoulders for the Attitude Adjustment. Jey Uso got out and superkicked Logan Paul then Cena eliminated Paul.

John Cena and Jey Uso took a breath then stood face to face in the ring as the fans went wild. Cena put Jey up on his shoulders for the AA, but Jey got out again and superkicked him. Jey superkicked Cena again. Main Event Jey Uso tried to pick Cena up and throw him over the top, but Cena fought out of it. They ran the ropes and Jey connected with a spear.

Cena threw Jey over the top rope, but Jey hung on. Cena ended up on the outside and they battled on the apron. They exchanged strikes on the apron and Jey hit a superkick. John Cena almost fell off then Jey got back into the ring as Cena struggled to hang on and he pushed John Cena off the apron to win the Royal Rumble.
