This week on Friday Night SmackDown the Motor City Machine Guns defeated DIY to earn a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championship. After the match ended The Bloodline made their way down to the ring.

SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis stood between the Motor City Machine Guns and The Bloodline, but Solo told him there wouldn’t be a problem. Solo told the fans to acknowledge him then Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley introduced themselves. Sabin said they’re ready to fight in a title match any time, any place.

Solo Sikoa mocked them then suggested they challenge for the titles right now. Nick Aldis tried to talk them out of it, but Alex Shelley demanded the title shot. Aldis called for a referee then booked the match.

Early on in the match Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa dominated as the Motor City Machine Guns were clearly tired from their previous match. The fans chanted “we want Roman” while Solo looked aggravated at ringside.

A hooded man appeared out of nowhere then attacked Solo. It turned out to be Jimmy Uso who tried to take on Fatu and Solo, but they overpowered him. The fans chanted “YEET” then Roman Reigns’ music hit. Jacob fatu ran toward the ramp, but Roman hit him with a Superman Punch. Solo went after Roman then Jimmy went after Solo. They all brawled into the backstage area as the match continued in the ring.

Sabin accidentally knocked down the referee then Toonga Loa and Tama Tonga grabbed steel chairs. Another hooded man appeared and superkicked Tonga Loa. He ran into the ring, superkicked Tama Tonga, then hit him with the steel chair followed by a spear. The man removed his hood and revealed himself to be Jey Uso.

The Motor City Machine Guns then hit their finisher on Tama Tonga to win the WWE Tag Team Championship as Jey Uso looked on from ringside. After the match Shelley and Sabin celebrated with the belts.

After the Motor City Machine Guns left Jey Uso stood alone in the ring. Jimmy approached the ring and they hugged. Roman looked on from the entrance area as the show ended.
