The Hardys are a legendary team. Some may even say that they’re the greatest team in all of space and time. There’s no denying that the brothers are talented, and throughout their career they’ve managed to procure gold several times in WWE.

The Hardy Boyz recently returned to WWE after many years with Impact Wrestling, and they returned on the grandest stage of them all. The brothers were a surprise addition to the ladder mach for the Raw Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 33, and on their first night back with the company they won the belts.
Matt and Jeff Hardy successfully defended the Raw Tag Team Titles against Sheamus and Cesaro at WWE Payback, and they defended the titles once again in a steel cage match at Extreme Rules on Sunday night.
Sheamus and Cesaro managed to walk away with the gold, and in an interesting twist of fate, the Raw Tag Team Title loss happened to take place on the exact same date that Matt and Jeff Hardy lost the titles in 2007.
The last time The Hardy Boyz lost the WWE Tag Team Titles they dropped them to Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch on June 4th, 2007.
As if that wasn’t ironic enough, The Hardy Boyz defeated John Cena and Shawn Michaels to win the belts on April 2nd, 2007, and when they returned to win the titles at WrestleMania 32 a few weeks ago, they won them on April 2nd 2017.
The Hardys won and lost the WWE Tag Team Titles on the same date ten years apart. The Seven Deities work in strange ways.
