Fans might have thought that hell had frozen over when they watched the latest episode of Table For 3 on the WWE Network, because the episode features footage from Impact Wrestling.
It’s also made clear in the episode that if fans want to see more Impact Wrestling footage, they can do so by downloading the Global Wrestling Network app, and it looks like the plug helped out Impact in a big way.
PWInsider notes that the Global Wrestling Network app went from the 669th position in top free sports apps on iOS all the way up to the 101st position.
The app previously peaked at 130 on the chart the night after the Redemption pay-per-view last month.
On the Canadian charts the app went from the 1239th position to 97th, and from the 1029th to 143rd position in Great Britain.
ROH World Champion Dalton Castle didn’t compete at this week’s events, and it’s being reported that he’s dealing with a broken hand as well as back issues.
It’s being said that Castle has been dealing with back issues for months, and the hope is that he will be able to return to action for the ROH pay-per-view in June.
