There are a number of WWE stars who have proven over the years to either be a great heel, or a great babyface. In the case of John Cena he spent a great deal of time working as a babyface after he became the top star in the company. Throughout Cena’s run as the face of WWE many fans called for him to turn heel, but it just didn’t happen.
Hulk Hogan knows a thing or two about turning heel as he completely rejuvenated his career when he was revealed to be the third man in the NWO. Recently Hogan shared his thoughts on a potential John Cena heel turn on the Pat McAfee Show, and he explained why he thinks Cena would have been oen of the greatest heels ever.
“In my opinion, I think John would’ve been one of the greatest heels ever because he was such a great babyface. You repent. After you’ve cut everybody’s throats, stolen all the money, and cheated, then when you repent and beg for forgiveness, the wrestling fans will make you an even bigger babyface.”
