Much could be said about the legacy that both Hulk Hogan and Roddy Piper created for themselves in the wrestling business. These two men headlined the first WrestleMania and helped turn the event into a pop culture phenomenon. Hogan and Piper truly brought out the best in each other.
Hogan was asked about the passing of Roddy Piper and made the following comment to TMZ:
“He was my best friend. He is a legend. God’s gain is our loss. May his family in this time of need, find peace. Much love forever, HH.”
Roddy Piper was a legend indeed. May he rest in peace.
