Hulk Hogan was released from WWE a few years ago, and since then he’s been doing his best to repair his image. Hogan is now 64 years old, and he hasn’t wrestled a match in several years, but that hasn’t stopped him from lobbying for one more match inside a WWE ring.
Hogan’s son recently said that his dad is ready for an in-ring return, and now the former WWE World Champion has named a potential opponent.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recently shared a story about how he caught Hulk Hogan’s headband during a WWE event at Madison Square Garden when he was only 12 years old, and the story went viral.
The Rock posted the following:
Wow this was the match back in ‘84 when I caught this @HulkHogan headband he throws. I was 12yrs old at Madison Square Garden. I went back to the locker room after the match to give it back to him. Two weeks later he gave me a brand new one. Crazy story. 🙏🏾🤙🏾 https://t.co/0UX0I68Wm4

Hulk Hogan responded to The Rock’s story on Twitter, and he offered to give him another headband, if The Rock faces him in a rematch.
Yo @TheRock, if you need another head band this time you need to give me my rematch then see if you can take it brother!! Lol. Only love but I’m serious about the rematch brother HH https://t.co/IDpN7h6uIb

The Rock and Hulk Hogan faced off at WrestleMania X8 and the crowd went wild when the two icons faced off.
As of this writing The Rock hasn’t responded to Hulk Hogan’s request for a rematch, so it looks like the ball is in his court.
