We’re less than one week away from the annual Royal Rumble pay-per-view, and fans are ready for WrestleMania season to kick into high gear.
One year ago Edge made his triumphant return during the men’s Royal Rumble match, and he went on to defeat Randy Orton at WrestleMania 36. Unfortunately for Edge he suffered a triceps injury while taping his match against Randy Orton for the Backlash pay-per-view, and he’s been out of action ever since.
This week on Monday Night Raw Edge appeared in a pre-taped promo and he talked about how he returned to the ring after 9 years away.
Edge then declared that he will be entering the Royal Rumble match, and that he will go on to headline WrestleMania.
The Hall of Famer will return to the ring on Sunday, January 31. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
