WWE Crown Jewel is set to air on the WWE Network in a few weeks, but the event has been attracting a lot of negative attention as of late due to the disappearance of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
Intelligence reports suggest Jamal was murdered, and it’s suspected that the Saudi government may have been involved in his death.
Recently United States senators, fans and various media outlets have been calling for WWE to cancel the event, but Crown Jewel is reportedly moving forward as planned.
Former WWE Women’s Champion Gail Kim shared her thoughts on the event via Twitter, and she urged WWE to do the right thing.
Do the right thing @wwe you have enough money. https://t.co/eeoqg9AzcV

And the fans of the WWE will go to the shows and share them on even though the moral compass of the WWE is completely out of whack. Unbelievable you don't take money from murderers and that's the truth!

Yes but the fans can create change. I don’t expect corporations to do the right thing for the most part, especially them. But fans can create change.
