For weeks it seemed that Bobby Lashley was going to end up facing Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania, but that match appears to be off the table. Lashley doesn’t currently have a match at WrestleMania as nothing official has been announced for him.

However, Bobby Lashley won the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on SmackDown last week, and after he picked up the win he issued an open challenge to anyone who wants to step up and face him at WrestleMania 39. Former WWE star Chris Masters expressed interest in answering the challenge when he posted the following on Twitter:

“Fact is, no matter who they choose, nobody would be able to put on a better match at this point in their career than me. That’s the sad part in this not being a reality”

It seems unlike that Chris will be the one step up and answer the challenge, but he has previously expressed that he would like to face Lashley and put the Master Lock up against the Hurt Lock. The former WWE star was released from the company in 2011 and has yet to return to WWE programming. Since then he’s gone on to work with companies like Impact Wrestling, NWA and numerous independent promotions.
