The Undertaker may or may not have retired from WWE back at WrestleMania 33 last month, but one thing that is known is that Taker is a living legend when it comes to his wrestling career.
Undertaker will be remembered for his incredible and unbreakable streak at WrestleMania, and his seven World Championship reigns, but according to former WWE Hardcore Champion Raven, Undertaker would have been given many more reigns as World Champion if he wasn’t 6ft 10 inches.
Raven recently conducted an interview with Sports Illustrated, where he discussed his theory in detail.
“If he had been six inches shorter, he would have been the perennial World Champion.”
“It wasn’t until near the end of his career when he finally started being able to show that he could actually work, but, by then, he wasn’t anywhere near the worker he was ten years before that. He was amazing.”
Taker was relegated to many “Creature Feature” matches at the beginning of his career, facing the likes of Giant Gonzalez at WrestleMania, it is thought that this was based on his size and the fact that it would have only made sense at that point to put Undertaker in those kinds of matches.
Despite this, Undertaker’s career is still one of legendary status and he is a sure-fire Hall of Famer in the near future.
