This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite was the special Beach Break edition, and it took place from Cleveland, OH. Given that the show took place from Cleveland many fans expected former NXT Champion Johnny Gargano to appear at the show, but that didn’t happen.
Following Beach Break the former WWE star took to Twitter to address any disappointed fans when he posted the following:
“I heard you and you have no idea how much it means to me that you’re excited to see me back at it. It’s scary to step away because your insecurities say “they’ll forget about you”.. but you haven’t forgotten and I promise that I will make it up to you asap. #JohnnyWrestling ❤”

Johnny Gargano last appeared on the December 7th episode of NXT where he said farewell to the WWE Universe. Gargano is currently awaiting the birth of his son, but it will be interesting to see where he ends up once he returns to the world of professional wrestling. Stay tuned for updates.
