WWE has released many talents in waves over the last few years, and now there are quite a few free agents on the market. Keith Lee happens to be one name who is currently a free agent as he was released from WWE back in November.
Dave Meltzer recently addressed Keith Lee’s status on Wrestling Observer Radio and he confirmed that AEW has been in talks with Keith Lee. Meltzer noted the two sides were pretty close and that a deal could be done already.
It hasn’t been officially confirmed that Lee has signed with All Elite Wrestling, but the word going around is that Keith Lee to AEW “probably is a done deal.”
Recently Tony Khan teased that a free agent will be signing a contract and debuting with AEW during this week’s episode of Dynamite. Fans on social media have speculated that it could be Keith Lee, but only time will tell if the former NXT Champion shows up on Dynamite. Stay tuned for updates.
