The landscape has certainly changed in professional wrestling as fans have seen a number of WWE stars part ways with the company in recent months with Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae being just two of the names who have moved on from World Wrestling Entertainment.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the expectation is Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae should both be back in wrestling soon. It’s not clear where they will end up, but people in AEW have been pushing for LeRae to join the company.
It’s also being reported that Johnny Gargano has an open door to return to WWE. However, the situation is that he will likely make money, but probably won’t be pushed in NXT because the brand is currently focusing on younger talent. While Gargano could get a main roster spot it seems unlikely that WWE would do anything with him on Raw or SmackDown.
Gargano parted ways with WWE back in December when his contract with the company expired. Following his departure there was a lot of speculation that he would be joining AEW, but so far he has yet to make an appearance on AEW programming.
