Since AEW first launched in 2019 a number of familiar names have joined the company, but now it seems that a former TNT Champion has finished up with the promotion.

PWInsider is reporting that Miro is now done with All Elite Wrestling. Miro and AEW reportedly came to a mutual agreement that led to his departure from the company.

The word is that Miro originally requested to be released from his contract in the fall of 2024, and the two sides had been working on an agreement for some time. The belief is that there will be a lot of interest in Miro now that he’s a free agent.

Miro was released from WWE back in April of 2020 and he went on to debut with All Elite Wrestling in September of that same year. Throughout 2020 and 2021, Miro was regularly featured on AEW programming, but he only made sporadic appearances on AEW TV in the years that followed. Miro last wrestled for AEW in December of 2023 when he defeated Andrade at the Worlds End pay-per-view.

It was also recently reported that Malakai Black has parted ways with All Elite Wrestling as well. Stay tuned for more updates on Miro’s status as they become available.
