This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw aired live from Omaha, NE and a former WWE Champion returned. During the show Austin Theory and Grayson Waller were featured in a backstage segment and Waller gave his singles match on Raw to Theory.
Waller told Theory that it would be a great opportunity for him. Adam Pearce asked if they were serious then he officially booked Theory in a singles match. Theory questioned who his opponent could be and Grayson Waller told him it would be better if it’s a surprise.
As Theory was standing in the ring Sheamus was revealed to be his opponent. The Celtic Warrior made his way to the ring for his first televised match since the Royal Rumble back in February.
At one point Sheamus hit Theory with White Noise off the second rope and Waller walked up to Theory then asked, “Why would you do this?” Shortly after Sheamus connected with the Brogue Kick on Theory to pick up the win.
