Jey Uso kicked off Monday Night Raw this week and shortly after he was interrupted by the one and only Paul Heyman who told him that Seth Rollins is coming for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Heyman told Uso that he can pick the place and time, so Jey offered to put the title on the line on Raw. Adam Pearce made the match official, and Jey Uso defended the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins in the main event. Paul Heyman and Bron Breakker accompanied Seth Rollins to the ring then watched the match from ringside.
Near the end of the match Rollins and Uso were battling on the top rope when Rollins bumped into the referee and took him down. As the ref was distracted Bron Breakker tried to grab Jey’s leg, but Jey fought him off.
Seth Rollins then ran up to the top rope and connected with a superplex followed by a Falcon Arrow. Rollins then hit Jey Uso with the Stomp for a two count.
Sami Zayn returned and he fought off Bron Breakker. Jey Uso hit Seth with a superkick followed by a spear and an Uso Splash. It looked like he had it won, but Rollins kicked out. Sami Zayn looked on from ringside and tried to fire Jey up, but Bron Breakker took Sami out with a spear.
As Jey Uso was checking on Sami outside the ring, Paul Heyman distracted the ref and Bron Breakker speared Jey. Seth tried to take advantage by following up with the Stomp on Jey Uso, but CM Punk returned with a steel chair then took out Breakker and Seth Rollins.
CM Punk and Sami Zayn stood tall in the ring as Rollins, Heyman and Breakker retreated to end the show.
