Friday Night SmackDown has featured some big returns recently as John Morrison, Sheamus and The Usos are back on the blue brand.
Now it looks like another familiar name will be returning to Friday nights, as it’s been announced that former WWE Champion Kane will be on SmackDown this week.
WWE posted the following announcement teasing that Kane may enter the Royal Rumble this year:
“Former WWE Champion and current Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee, Kane makes his return to SmackDown this Friday for a special appearance.
The Big Red Machine has competed in more Royal Rumble matches and has more eliminations than any Superstar in WWE history, and with the match on the horizon, could Kane be ready to make history once again?”
