The annual Royal Rumble pay-per-view is quickly approaching which means that we will soon be on the road to WrestleMania 38. Everyone knows that WrestleMania is WWE’s biggest show of the year, and it’s certainly not an event that WWE Superstars want to miss.

Drew McIntyre has been out of action for weeks now due to an injury, and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that McIntyre has been doing rehab and compression therapy on his neck.

It was also noted that the former WWE Champion is taking the “John Cena approach” as he’s doing double sessions six days a week. It’s being said that McIntyre is pretty insistent that he will be back in time for WrestleMania.

Drew McIntyre faced off against Madcap Moss at the Day 1 pay-per-view a few weeks ago, but after he picked up the victory Moss and Happy Corbin attacked him backstage and McIntyre was written off TV. Stay tuned for more updates on Drew McIntyre’s status as they become available.
