This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown is set to take place from Calgary, Alberta, Canada and an interesting name is on location for the event. PWInsider is reporting that former NWA World Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis is backstage at SmackDown in Calgary this week. Nick Aldis is currently continuing his tryout as a producer with WWE.
Ahead of SmackDown it’s been confirmed that Roman Reigns will be appearing on the show and The Bloodline will deal with the fallout from Jimmy turning on Jey at SummerSlam. It’s also been confirmed that Austin Theory will be defending the United States Championship against Santos Escobar on SmackDown.
