Roman Reigns is always a hot topic among wrestling fans, and one of the things fans are always talking about when it comes to Roman Reigns is his ring attire.
When The Shield split Rollins, and Ambrose both updated their look, but Roman Reigns kept his vest on. Now a fan has started a petition to have Roman Reigns remove his “illegal” vest. The description for the petition reads as follows:
Roman Reigns has been systematically breaking the rules of Admiral-Lord Mountevans Unified Rules of Professional Wrestling through the use of illegal body armor to protect himself during the course of matches with legitimately dressed competitors, and has been doing so throughout his career. We require swift action that prohibits the use of this body armor in all future WWE contests by Mr. Reigns and anyone else.
According to the official page on Change.org, the petition will be delivered to high profile names such as Vince McMahon (a.k.a. Mr. MeekMahan), Jack Tunney, Mick Foley, Stephanie McMahon, Barack Obama, Francisco Aguilar, John McCain, Tony Cardenas and Elijah Cummings.
All things considered, the petition seems to be in good fun, and one person going by the name of D-Lo Brown, signed it, and noted that he doesn’t see a problem with Roman’s vest. Get it?

Yes, this person is clearly an idiot. The reason why Roman still wears that vest is to protect the area where he had his LIFE- THREATENING hernia operation. Is this idiot aware of the fact that Roman’s family wanted him to stop because of the seriousness of this hernia and that they agreed to allow him to continue only on condition that he wears the vest? If they make him remove the vest he risks re-opening the hernia, leading him to die in the ring. More than forcing Roman to remove the vest that petition is going to backfire because it will make the non – WWE officials receiving it find out about the injuries that the superstars suffer, launch an investigation into these injuries and force WWE to close down because of them. This will also mean that all of us wrestling fans can bid farewell to watching our favorite superstars, PPV’s, attend the live events and interact on chat lines to chat about the show.
Uhh you do realize it’s already well known about the serious injuries people have suffered in WWE? Like, Owen Hart literally died in the ring because of his WWE work and they’re still very much in operation.
Of course they already know. The whole argument is that in Roman’s case we’re not talking about a serious injury – we’ re talking about a possible death (the doctors who operated on him themselves said that that hernia was life- threatening). Now let’s be serious: you may not like the character that he is playing but I’ don’t think anyone wishes him to die in the ring.

That is a very good point. At the end of the day, it is an outfit that compliments his character. But it in no way gives him an advantage as the people petitioning seem to imply.
