Exclusive: Konnan Explains Why Other Wrestlers Aren’t Outspoken

The legendary Konnan is back with Impact Wrestling and making serious waves on the scene. Alongside the latest version of The Latin American Xchange, Santana and Ortiz, the outspoken leader of the notorious stable is not backing down from making his voice heard at any cost.

There is a reason why he remains a powerful and influential figure in the professional wrestling business: He tells it as it is and keeps it real. Wrestling fans can’t get enough of what he will say next.

In an exclusive with Still Real To Us, Konnan explained why the majority of wrestlers in the industry are afraid to speak their minds. “In the wrestling community, you get heat if you speak your mind. It even happens with MLB and NFL teams also. In wrestling, they have all these instruments…whether it’s fear, intimidation or not getting a push. They send you messages not to say what you think. That always got me in a lot of hot water. That’s the reason because you’re going to get heat,” Konnan stated.

Hot water hasn’t stopped Konnan from achieving massive success before and he plans on doing it yet again in November. The former multi-time champion is set to make his mark with LAX at Bound For Glory which will be originating from the Aberdeen Pavilion in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
