Former WWE star Eva Marie has entered a new chapter in her life as she recently confirmed that she finalized her divorce from her ex-husband Jonathan Coyle last August.
While talking about her romantic life on TMZ’s Inside The Ring, Eva Marie noted that she’s not currently dating. She also indicated that she’s not making an effort to date at this point in time.
“I’m single. I mean, I would say, what does dating look like? I don’t even know how to do that. It’s so weird. Because I mean, I’m not dating, because I would say that I am, but what that would mean is I would have to go on a date. I don’t even know if I have game. I don’t drink, so I don’t go to bars to have a cocktail and meet up with somebody. The dating apps, I’ve never been on a dating app. I’ve heard horror stories on apps, but I’ve also heard good ones. Plus, I’m 42, so anybody that I would date, the majority probably have children.”
Eva Marie has not been involved with professional wrestling since she was released from WWE in 2021. However she did note that she considered pursuing a run with AEW following her release.
“It was initially at the very beginning, and I kinda, like, thought about it. But it’s also like, it would have to be done so good and not trying to recreate Eva Marie. And I feel, WWE was my home. So if I were to have to do something like that, the offer would have to be incredibly good. There would be a lot of zeros, and I would have to have some type of creative control.”
Ultimately she decided against it and never made an effort to get involved with All Elite Wrestling.
