Eva Marie Finalizes Divorce

Former WWE Superstar Natalie Eva Marie is now officially divorced according to Page Six. The report notes that she finalized her divorce last August, but Eva Marie noted, “It feels like so much longer than a year.”

“You have your initial process of filing and then figuring it out. Then you’re going through lawyers and all this stuff. So it feels like it’s not really surreal to me because I had to also sell the [marital house in Texas] and do all of these other little things to really solidify on paper that we were technically divorced,” Marie said.

Eva Marie also noted that she’s thankful she didn’t share any children with her ex-husband Jonathan Coyle as that would have made the divorce much more complicated.

She also talked more about the divorce process when she added, “My compassion towards anybody going through it, regardless if you’re amicable or not, it’s just a lot of stuff that you don’t really think about. Even going through changing my last name was a b***h and a half.”

Eva Marie originally filed for divorce from Jonathan Coyle in December of 2024 after 10 years of marriage. She also claimed that they had been separated since October of 2023.

While talking about what led to the split Eva Marie said, “it was a combination of many things.” The former WWE star also claimed that she and Jonathan were more like “business partners” which wasn’t the type of relationship she wanted.

“I really felt like Jonathan and I were doing a disservice to one another because we just had a very transactional business relationship. We got along, we were totally best of buddies, but that’s not really what a marriage is, nor should it be, nor is that what I wanted it to be,” Eva Marie noted.

According to Eva Marie she wanted to live her life to the fullest and be “happy” and “honest.” She also stated that she wants the same for her ex-husband.

While talking about her current relationship with Jonathan she stated, “I wish him well — over there. … There’s no real bad blood in me, but it’s not like we’re best friends or I’m calling him up.”

Marie also told Page Six that she would be willing to return to the ring, or the reality TV world, “in a heartbeat.” However, she’s currently focused on building up her following on the subscription based service Passes.
