Enzo Amore and Big Cass quickly became one of the top acts in NXT after they started teaming together, and they also became one of the most popular teams on the WWE main roster when they get called up.
Recently there’s been a lot of talk about what the future holds for Enzo and Big Cass. While speaking with Emilio Sparks, Enzo Amore was asked about a potential reunion with Big Cass and he said, “Not the booker.”
Enzo then went on to talk about his relationship with Big Cass when he added, “Big Cass saved my life a million times. Cause when you’re green and you don’t even know what the word mark is, you don’t know what the word green means and you don’t know what the word kayfabe is and you don’t understand any of the language. You never heard of the dirt sheets. You never watched the indies in your life. If you’re me and you break into WWE, you think that you just do it through tough enough. I had no idea how the f**k you become a wrestler. He’s my best buddy. I mean, we played three fantasy football leagues.”
It’s been rumored that Enzo Amore could be returning to WWE, and it was reported a few weeks ago that there were plans in place for him to join the NXT brand. Big Cass was last seen on ROH programming back in April, and it’s been reported that his deal with AEW was expected to expire either in late May, or sometime in June.
