This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw took place from the FedEx Forum in Memphis, TN and it featured a big main event which saw Becky Lynch defend the Raw Women’s Championship against Liv Morgan.
In the end it was Becky Lynch who walked away with the gold after she rolled Morgan up and used the ropes for leverage to score the pin.
WWE Producer Shane Helms recently revealed on Twitter that the main event received a lot of attention backstage, and while he didn’t name names he did note that the Gorilla Position was sold out.
“I’m not naming names, you know who you are, but Gorilla was sold out for Liv-Becky. Seeing that kind of support was just awesome.”

It’s interesting to note that the Morgan vs. Lynch match took place on the 17 year anniversary of the Lita vs. Trish Stratus main event for the WWE Women’s Championship on December 6, 2004.
WWE originally had different plans for the main event of Raw this week, and you can get more on that here.
