WWE announced a few months ago that Dean Ambrose would be parting ways with the company in April, and April has come.
On Monday night, Ambrose was scheduled to face Bobby Lashley in his last WWE match on Raw, but before the match got started Ambrose and Lashley brawled.
One thing led to another, and the segment ended with Dean Ambrose getting put through the announce table before the match even began.
After Raw, Seth Rollins addressed the crowd and he called Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose down to the ring.
Rollins said that he never would have won the Universal Title without Dean Ambrose, because he’s learned so much from Dean, and it breaks his heart to seem him go, but he loves him.
The fans then chanted “please don’t go” and Rollins said he tried that.
Ambrose said one of the sweetest sites he’s ever seen was Seth Rollins stomping Brock Lesnar’s big dumb head into the mat and taking the title back for the boys. He also praised Reigns for “kicking the s**t out of cancer.”
Dean talked about all the memories he has in the Barclays Center, but said a building is just a building, and it’s the fans who fill it that are important.
The fans chanted “thank you Dean” as The Shield did their signature fist bump to say goodbye.
