TNA had been teasing the debut of Damien Sandow for a full 24 hours and Thursday night he finally arrived in the Impact Zone.

Sandow made his debut under his new name Aron Rex.

He came to the ring and said that TNA has done what some people were too scared to do, and that is give him a microphone on live TV. The crowd popped big time and started to chant, “TNA! TNA! TNA!” Sandow said he’s not going to talk about glass ceilings or any other cliche, he’s going to tell the truth and speak with full disclosure.

He said that this isn’t about the company that he used to employ him, so they don’t have to worry, he said this is about the fans.

Aron Rex said some people don’t think he has what it takes to hold a World Title, but that TNA is a proving ground where people can succeed based on talent alone.

He named talents like EC3, Drew Galloway and Bobby Lashley as people who have been able to break through.

Rex told the crowd that he’s going to do things his way and the crowd chanted, “You’re a genius!” He joked that he’s never checked his IQ and that the genius thing was just a gimmick.

He said that what he’s going to do in TNA will change the template of the entire industry, and that as of this moment his home is Impact Wrestling.
