Times have certainly changed as WWE has shown over the last few years that they’re much more open to the idea of working with other wrestling promotions. WWE signed a multi-year partnership with TNA Wrestling, sent a few of their wrestlers to Pro Wrestling NOAH, and now it appears that WWE will be crossing over with the NWA.
It was announced today that Natalya will be stepping into the ring when the NWA returns to the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia for The Crockett Cup on May 17th. Natalya’s opponent for the show has not been announced.
“Just announced on Busted Open Radio! The Crockett Cup returns on May 17th to the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia!
If the most prestigious tag team tournament ever isn’t enough, @WWE Superstar Natalya will be competing in an NWA ring!”
