Social media has changed the landscape of professional wrestling throughout the years as fans now have a way to directly communicate with their favorite wrestlers. It’s easy for fans to share their opinions, but unfortunately at times those opinions can be overwhelming for wrestlers who read too deeply into them

Recently Mariah May talked about her approach to social media during an interview with Ginger Vision House, and she explained why she tries not to read any of the things people say about her on the internet.

“I mean, naturally I’m The Glamour, of course I am. But I try not to read the internet because I don’t think it’s good to do. I don’t think it’s a healthy thing to do if you are an artist or an entertainer and you’re producing things. Everyone’s going to have a lot of different opinions—one day you’re the favorite, and the next day you’re the worst person alive and should quit.”

“I never take it too much, whatever’s on there, and I think it’s healthy not to read it. I know just from obviously doing interviews like this and general perception talking to people I work with that the storylines have been really well received, and that’s really good to hear.”
