It’s no big secret that there are a number of WWE contracts that are set to expire soon, and now it seems that another current WWE star has a deal that’s coming up this summer. Fightful Select is reporting that Angel Garza’s current WWE contract is set to expire on August 1st. According to the report the two sides have been negotiating and an offer from WWE is on the table.
Angel Garza first signed with WWE in 2019 and he has since gone on to win the WWE 24/7 Championship and Cruiserweight Championship. In recent months Angel Garza has been working alongside Legado Del Fantasma on the SmackDown brand. It was noted that he is currently scheduled for this upcoming weekend’s show.
It was also noted that if he does end up parting ways with WWE, Angel Garza will still be able to use the Garza name outside of the company, but will not be able to use the name Angel.
