CM Punk To Challenge John Cena For The Undisputed WWE Championship At Night Of Champions

This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw kicked off in a big way as John Cena made his way to the ring. John Cena ran down the list of opponents he’s beaten recently and he pointed out that he only has 19 dates left before he retires. The Undisputed WWE Champion said that he wants to face the best and that’s when CM Punk’s music hit.

The Second City Saint confronted John Cena and said that he originally didn’t want to win the title when he returned because he’s afraid of what it would turn him into, but now he realizes that he has to become a monster to stop the monster. CM Punk then challenged Cena to defend the Undisputed WWE Championship on Raw in Phoenix.

John Cena agreed to face CM Punk in one final match. However, he said that it’s not going to happen tonight. Cena told CM Punk that if he wants the title shot he has to follow him to Saudi Arabia to challenge for the title at Night of Champions.

CM Punk started nodding in agreement as Seth Rollins’ music hit. Rollins made his way out to the stage with Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker and Paul Heyman by his side. Seth Rollins held up the Money in the Bank briefcase and laughed as Punk and Cena looked on from the ring.

Later in the night Raw General Manager Adam Pearce officially confirmed CM Punk vs. John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Night of Champions.
