Right now the wrestling world is buzzing over CM Punk’s return as it’s expected that he will be back with the company as soon as June. Following his backstage altercation with The Elite at All Out last year there’s been a lot of speculation regarding whether or not the two sides could possibly work together to present a feud on television, but it doesn’t seem that’s going to be the case for now.

It was recently reported that a meeting was set to take place between CM Punk, Tony Khan, Chris Jericho and FTR to try and smooth things over, and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the meeting has not take place yet. As of the weekend there was said to be no resolution to the situation. No other talents were invited to the meeting as the idea is that if things can be worked out then they can start with Chris Jericho, and Jericho can be there for other talents to work things out if it goes smoothly.

It’s also being reported that CM Punk has not apologized or attempted to make any direct amends with The Young Bucks. However, people close to CM Punk have said that he’s been told not to have any contact with The Young Bucks, so he wouldn’t have had an opportunity to apologize.

No one has said one way or another if CM Punk would apologize given the chance because there are people who want both sides to make amends, and many have suggested that an attempt at least be made in some way.
