Punk became one of WWE’s top stars, and wrestling fans around the world loved to cheer him on when he made his way down to the ring, but unfortunately his relationship with WWE went south and he’s no longer a wrestler. After being fed up with WWE for a few years, Punk walked out the company before an episode of Raw after the Royal Rumble in 2014.

Since then everyone’s been asking CM Punk if he will ever return to wrestling, but he keeps saying that he has no plans to get back in the ring because he’s focusing on his MMA career. Although Punk might not want to return to wrestling, there are quite a few people who would love to see him back in the squared circle.

British promotion 5 Star Wrestling creator Daniel Hinkles is one of those people, and he recently confirmed to The Sun that the promotion has offered CM Punk $1 million dollars to return to the ring.

The offer is for CM Punk to compete as part of a 128 man tournament which kicks off at Liverpool’s Echo Arena on June 10.

“I’ve tried going through friends in the industry, I’ve gone through his website and sent dozens of emails but the opportunity has never been this big. We want to offer CM Punk $1 million dollars (£770,000) to come and join the 5 Star Wrestling tour starting June 10th. It’s a genuine offer. We’d love to hear back from the man himself. We want to do this with him.”

As of this writing CM Punk has yet to respond to the offer.
