Back in September of 2021 NXT was relaunched as NXT 2.0, and since then Bron Breakker has been one of the faces at the forefront of the brand.
Breakker managed to defeat Tommaso Ciampa to win the NXT Championship earlier this month at New Year’s Evil, and while people were talking about his title win following the show they were also talking about his entrance.
As Bron Breakker was making his way to the ring he smashed through a giant gold “X” which resembled the old NXT logo. During a recent interview with Bleacher Report the current NXT Champion was asked if he knew who came up with the idea for the entrance and he said, “I don’t, to be honest with you. I have no idea.”
Following his big title win Bron Breakker received some support from The Rock when he left a comment on one of WWE’s Instagram posts, and Breakker noted that he hopes to cross paths with The Great One someday.
“That’s cool, man. The Rock is obviously awesome. I’ve always loved The Rock, and he’s probably the most famous person ever. That’s cool. I appreciate him making a comment and the positive words he has to say. I’ve never met him, but it would be such an honor to say hello.”
