Last week on Raw the one and only Goldberg made his return to WWE after 12 long years away. Goldberg got in the ring, and he answered Brock Lesnar’s challenge by telling Brock that he’s next, and he’s last.

This week on Raw Brock Lesnar made his return to television accompanied by his advocate Paul Heyman. Paul got on the mic and he put down Goldberg, then told the audience that the Goldberg chants are really starting to piss Brock Lesnar off. Paul tried his best to get the Minneapolis, MN crowd to chant for Goldberg, but Brock’s hometown crowd responded with enthusiastic “Suplex City” chants instead.

Eventually a few sections of the crowd started chanting for Goldberg, but after a while the chants changed to “Goldberg sucks.”

Paul Heyman and Brock just kind of stood in the ring and looked around at the crowd for a while. Brock’s music then started playing and they left the ring without saying anything else. The segment was awkward to say the least, and it didn’t do anything to advance the storyline.

Brock Lesnar and Goldberg are expected to face off in a one on one match at Survivor Series in November, but the match still has yet to be officially confirmed by WWE.

Goldberg will be returning to Raw next week.
