cm punk

It’s been 4 years since CM Punk left the wrestling business behind, and Punk’s trial with WWE Dr. Chris Amann kicked off this week.

Since leaving WWE Punk has given no indication that he’s interested in returning to the ring, but recently there’s been speculation that he could be appearing at All In in September.

Punk will be doing a meet and greet at Pro Wrestling Tees the day before, and Cody Rhodes has said that he’s more than welcome to be a part of the event if he wants to.

But right now CM Punk is focused on his next UFC fight which will see him face Mike Jackson at UFC 225 in Chicago on June 9th.

Booker T talked a little bit about Punk’s upcoming fight on his Heated Conversations podcast, and he said that he thinks Punk will return to wrestling if he loses his next UFC fight.

“I think he’ll be at All In,” Booker said via Wrestling Inc. “I think if he lose this fight, he’ll be at All In, with the Young Bucks [and] Cody Rhodes, making his way back to the pro wrestling world. I really think CM Punk [misses] the wrestling world. I just think he had a bad taste in his mouth, but he can get it back.”

Punk’s UFC debut didn’t go so well as Mickey Gall defeated him in 2 minutes and 45 seconds, but according to his coach he’s made some major improvements since then.

The former WWE Champion as a lot to prove when he steps into the octagon at UFC 225, but only time will tell if he’ll be able to pick up a victory.
