This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw took place from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, and originally Humberto Carillo was supposed to challenge AJ Styles for the US Title.
However, The OC beat up Carillo before the match got started. Ricochet, Randy Orton, Drew McIntyre and Rey Mysterio then faced off in a fatal four way to determine who would face Styles, and Mysterio pinned Ricochet to win the match.
At one point during the US Title match the referee banned The OC from ringside, but after the ref got knocked down by accident they came back out to attack Mysterio.
Randy Orton then made his way down to the ring to assist Mysterio, and he hit Styles with the RKO.
Mysterio then followed up by hitting a splash on Styles from the top rope and he pinned him to become the new US Champion.
