WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event aired live from Madison Square Garden in New York City and the show kicked off with a big title match. Paige & Brie Bella put the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship on the line when they defended the belts against Fatal Influence.
Jacy Jayne accompanied Lainey Reid & Fallon Henley to the ring, and Jayne proved to be the difference make for Fatal Influence as she interfered in the match multiple times.
Near the end of the match Paige had Lainey Reid rolled up when Jacy Jayne got up on the apron and pushed Paige so that Lainey could reverse the pin. Lainey then rolled Paige up and the referee counted the pin as Fatal Influence became the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. After the match Lainey Reid & Fallon Henley held up the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship while Jacy Jayne celebrated with them.
Paige & Brie Bella have been the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions ever since they won the belts at WrestleMania 42 back in April, but now their run with the belts has officially come to an end.
