WWE Clash at the Castle aired live from Scotland on Saturday and the show kicked off in a big way. Cody Rhodes successfully defended his Undisputed WWE Championship against AJ Styles, but a big title change took place during the second match of the show.
Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair defended their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles against Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark and Isla Dawn & Alba Fyre in a triple threat match, but the champions lost their gold. At one point it seemed that Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair had the match won after they hit their double team finisher on Shayna Baszler.
As Jade Cargill went for the pin on Shayna Baszler, Isla Dawn pulled Cargill off to break up the pin. Isla Dawn then hit Cargill with a German suplex and immediately pinned Shayna Baszler after to win the match and the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
The fans in Scotland erupted as Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair looked on in shock. After the match the new champions celebrated with their family members at ringside as the fans chanted “you deserve it.”
