This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw aired live from Des Moines, Iowa and Je’Von Evans faced off against Ethan Page in a singles match. Ultimately Je’Von picked up the victory when he put Page away with the OG Cutter.
After the match Evans was celebrating when Big Cass appeared out of nowhere and hit him with a big boot. Cass had a crazy look in his eyes as he dragged Je’Von Evans around the ring by his hair.
Big Cass then threw Je’Von Evans into the ropes, caught him and hit him with East River Crossing. As Cass was leaving the fans booed while the referee checked on Je’Von Evans.
WWE had been advertising the return of Big Cass for this episode of Raw in recent weeks and it appears that Cass is going to be working as a heel moving forward. As of this writing there’s been no indication that Enzo Amore will be returning alongside his former tag team partner.
Later in the show Jackie Redmond asked Big Cass why he attacked Je’Von Evans. Cass grabbed the mic and said it took him 8 years to get back to WWE from rock bottom. He said it’s nothing personal against Je’Von, he’s here to stack bodies, and Je’Von was the first, but won’t be the last.
