Night 1 of the WWE Draft kicked off last week on Friday Night SmackDown, and the draft continued this week on Monday Night Raw. WWE wasted no time getting down to business with a big draft pick at the top of the show.
Becky Lynch made her way down to the ring, and she said that she does what she wants before announcing herself as the first pick of the night and confirming that she’s moving to Raw.
Charlotte Flair then made her way out to the ring to confront Becky Lynch as the crowd chanted “Becky two belts.” They were both interrupted by Bianca Belair. Bianca cut a promo saying neither champ is ready for the EST of Raw, and Charlotte shushed her.
Belair and Charlotte traded insults back and forth and eventually Becky Lynch pointed out that they’ve never faced each other before. Things got heated so Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville made their way out into the arena to announce that Charlotte Flair will face Bianca Belair tonight in the main event.
It was also announced that Nikki A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley will defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles against Natalya and Tamina tonight.
Back from the break Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville confirmed Becky Lynch has been drafted to Raw. Sonya Deville then announced that SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos will be staying on SmackDown. Bobby Lashley was confirmed for Monday Night Raw. The final pick of the first round was Sasha Banks who was drafted to SmackDown.
