Last month a former WWE employee filed a lawsuit against Vince McMahon accusing him of abuse and sex trafficking. McMahon resigned from TKO shortly after and he is currently under federal investigation.

Becky Lynch has been one of the top stars in WWE for years now and she recently shared her reaction to the lawsuit during an interview with Alexa McCarthy of Inside The Ropes.

“I’ve been fortunate in my career that I’ve always felt supported by the company. These allegations are horrible. It’s hard to reconcile, as a talent and as a woman, but my experience in WWE has only ever been amazing. Yes, in the beginning, there were some restrictions put on things. We couldn’t punch, we had to hair pull, there were weird things there. Being able to push us forward, push women forward, I’m very grateful for that and the opportunity to even have my family. This company…some of these things are hard to reconcile.”

Over the weekend Becky Lynch secured a title shot at WrestleMania when she won the women’s Elimination Chamber match. Following the show it’s been confirmed that Lynch will challenge Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s World Championship on the Grandest Stage of Them All in April. Stay tuned for updates.
