WrestleMania is just around the corner, and with the Royal Rumble quickly approaching business is about to pick up for the WWE roster. There are a lot of rumors going around in regards to what the WrestleMania 33 card is going to look like, but according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, as of right now only three matches are locked in for the show.

Brock Lesnar vs. Bill Goldberg, HHH vs. Seth Rollins and Big Show vs. Shaquille O’Neal are said to be set for Mania. A multiple person Raw Women’s Championship match is also being discussed, and the rest of the card is still falling into place.

For months now it’s been rumored that John Cena vs. The Undertaker is part of WWE’s WrestleMania plans, but it look like that’s not a sure thing at this point.

The Observer notes that although John Cena is the likely opponent for The Undertaker at WrestleMania 33, Roman Reigns is also being considered for a match with the Deadman. The idea behind possibly booking Reigns is that Reigns is the future, and that a John Cena vs. Undertaker match wouldn’t do anything to build the future.

John Cena and Roman Reigns are both challenging for major championships at the Royal Rumble, so if one or both of them do end up walking away with the belts, it’s possible that a title could be in the mix for The Undertaker’s WrestleMania match.

At this point in his career it’s not known how many more WrestleMania matches the Undertaker has left, so the company only has so many opportunities to do a Taker vs. Roman Reigns match, and there’s always a chance that WrestleMania 33 could be Taker’s last match.

Who would you rather see The Undertaker face off against at WrestleMania 33, Roman Reigns of John Cena? Sound off in the comments below.

  1. However Undertaker wins or loses, he is the iconic character for the WWE. Company Will never ever finish the character and it’s role from business. Undertaker just crossed Golden Jubilee at the age of 51.

John Cena is titled as champ and most of the people watching him around the world. He can’t be released retire or even terminated from company.

Both of them still continue to future WrestleManias and either ppvs either they won or lost. As Shane lost to taker so undertaker can wrestle in future WrestleManias but shane lost the control of RAW in WrestleMania 32 Hell in a Cell match.

If Shane won he would gain control on raw. and undertaker lose, he would be banned for Wrestling in future WrestleManias. But Shane lost and Taker won. Undertaker can wrestle in Future Ongoing WrestleManias Aand in other wwe shows as well.

  2. Ugh. Taker is down to the bottom of the barrel for opponents. They’re world be no reason behind either match other than… that’s it. No one left. Remember his “I won’t let WM define me speech?” Then he was gone.

    • Agreed. Also, under no circumstances do I ever want to see Cena wrestle anyone ever again. I am soooo tired of seeing and hearing Vanilla Ice 2.0

  3. I think it should be either Bray Wyatt pt 2 or mayber… MAYBE Finn Ballor.. .Bray Wyatt will NEED to supplant UT as the next supernatural superstar. passing of the torch of sorts. Bray could receive UT’s powers or something. makes sense. Bray Wyatt is over and he and the company will only benefit from this. Finn Balor is another “supernatural” being when it’s time to let the demon out. him beating UT at WrestleMania could keep the demon shtick, stick. idk, I’m not a booker or in creative.
