The Money in the Bank pay-per-view is one of WWE’s most anticipated events, and the company recently announced that this year fans will be seeing a different type of MITB ladder match.

Stars competing in their respective MITB matches will do battle at WWE HQ, and they’ll start on the ground floor as they work their way up to the roof to grab a briefcase.

Fightful reports that talents were flown out on Tuesday, and multiple matches were filmed simultaneously. The filming took place from the early morning up until almost midnight that night.

It’s being said that the filming was tedious and there was a lot of “hurry up and wait” as the shots got set up.

The matches were filmed in a cinematic manner, but it’s not clear if they’ll be more in the vein of the Boneyard Match, The Firefly Funhouse match, or the Tommaso Ciampa vs. Johnny Gargano match.

Talents reportedly tried to stay warm as they had to go from standing around to bumping on short notice.

There was also said to have been a hiccup that caused filming to be stopped, but it’s not known exactly what happened.
