Last week CM Punk won the AEW World Championship at All Out, and following his controversial comments at the post-show media scrum he and Ace Steel were involved in a physical altercation with The Elite.
After the altercation several names were suspended including Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, Michael Nakazawa, Pat Buck, Christopher Daniels and Brandon Cutler. Fightful Select reports that there’s been no word on how long the suspensions will last, and the suspended talents don’t even know the length of the suspension.
People backstage in AEW said that they believe the situation will remain this way until the investigation is complete and any potential legal situations are figured out. It’s also being reported that originally Kenny Omega, Michael Nakazawa and Christopher Daniels were supposed to have this week off to visit Japan.
