For months now fans have been wondering that the future holds for Sasha Banks and Naomi, and on Saturday WWE got the wrestling world talking when they aired an intro video before Crown Jewel which featured Banks and Naomi.
Some fans took this as a sign that the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions could be heading back to WWE, but it seems that their inclusion in the intro may have been a mistake.
Fightful Select reports that WWE rep commented on the situation and said that there is “no news to report” on that front. One source also noted that they believed WWE just attached the wrong open at the start of Crown Jewel.
Sasha Banks and Naomi have been away from WWE since May after they walked out of Monday Night Raw. There’s been a lot of questions about their future, and it’s not clear where they will go from here, but Sasha Banks recently teased that something crazy is coming. Stay tuned for updates.
