Brock Lesnar successfully defended his Universal Championship against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 34 and the Greatest Royal Rumble, and now everyone’s wondering who he will be facing next. It’s expected that Brock will be defending his title once again at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view next month, and a fan recently asked Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer if another Brock vs. Braun match is possible.
@davemeltzerWON Could you see WWE doing Strowman vs Lesnar in Chicago at Money in the Bank 2018?

According to Meltzer, Brock vs. Braun is one of two options which are currently being considered by WWE.

Tonight Backlash will air live on the WWE Network, and AJ Styles is set to defend his WWE Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura.
WrestleVotes is reporting that at one point Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe was being considered for the main event, but plans for the match apparently changed. AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura is currently penciled in to close the show.
Shinsuke Nakamura vs AJ Styles is penciled in for the main event tomorrow night at Backlash. Samoa Joe v Roman Reigns was considered but plans that were originally discussed for that match were dropped therefore no sense in closing with it. I’m unsure of what those plans were.
